A number of committees and working parties help with the operation of the Council. Many matters are considered by committees and working parties before being brought to the full Council.

Committees and Working Parties
Full council meetings and committees require agenda, minutes and are public meetings. Notice to public meetings by statute must be advertised 3 full days before meetings.
Working Party meetings are Sub-Committee meetings, details are discussed of issues arising recommendations are taken to full council meetings for agreement. Working parties are not a public meeting so do not have to be advertised.
