Alresford Parish Council has ongoing plans to:

• Commit to improving Community Safety by contributing towards a village PCSO
• Commit to road safety by encouraging partners with their efforts to combat speeding (Police, PCSO, Community Speedwatch, Tendring District Council, Essex County Council) .

Specific projects for 2019/20 are:

• Streetlighting to be changed to LEDs
• Neighbourhood Plan advanced to final stages
• Landscaping of grassed areas Station Road/Cox Road
• Improved exterior lighting at the Pavilion
• Extend scope of grass cutting
• Seek funding to retain the Station House
• Additional play equipment items to be installed and improved fencing - playing field.
